A list of independent projects, not one game
The RadiantOpti source thread brings together browser-game engines and community ports. Searching for “radiant optimizer” after seeing the thread often means finding those links again. The projects do not share one developer, one launcher, one account system or one set of controls. This directory is an independent way to compare them and reach their original hosts.
That distinction matters at the first click. A Quake multiplayer client, a Diablo demo and a Halo engine waiting for a disc image can all run inside a browser, yet they have very different requirements. Treating the entire collection as a single free, file-free product hides the information a new visitor needs.
What our review confirmed
On October 10, 2026 we reviewed the project pages and current interfaces linked in the source list. The launch catalog contains 16 identifiable game projects. Each has a named original destination, a real project image or original-game cover thumbnail, and a guide that distinguishes source documentation from completed gameplay tests.
The QuakeWorld and Quake II hosts explicitly describe multiplayer. The RTCW host describes mp_beach and warns about an approximately 380 MB initial load. The Urban Terror host credits FrozenSand and ioUrbanTerror. These are more useful identifiers than assuming a familiar game title means every retail mode is included.
Corrections that change which link you should open
The UT abbreviation is a good example of why source labels need checking. The current ut.pieter.com destination is Urban Terror, not Unreal Tournament. Its own title, engine credits and original-game link settle that identity. The detail guide uses Urban Terror as the name.
Moon and Kino der Toten are named inside the current BO1 map-selection project. The separate pages.dev destinations in the thread did not respond during our review. Rather than create duplicate “playable” cards for those unavailable URLs, the main BO1 guide points visitors toward the identifiable map selector.
The skating-labeled global-terror.net link currently identifies an unrelated destination, the GTA V link is an archived page, and WASM Arcade is a multi-game portal rather than one game. They are documented in the source policy but excluded from the active game catalog.
Why some entries ask for your own files
Halo’s desktop engine requests an XISO from your own Xbox copy. HCEMobile accepts .iso or .xiso and describes copying the maps folder into browser storage. The Vice City port imports game.tar.gz. Diablo Web offers a shareware-demo path separately from the full-game DIABDAT.MPQ path.
A directory should make those differences visible before sending you to the host. It should not mirror commercial data or quietly imply that a game engine includes original assets. Our file-requirements article compares the documented formats and storage behavior.
Software searches are a separate branch
Radiant Optimizer also appears in searches for Windows optimization software. This directory serves the browser-game list. It does not publish a Windows installer, benchmark an optimizer, or recommend system changes. The software explanation page exists to help visitors recognize that distinction.
Use the homepage for the reviewed game collection, each game guide for its current requirements, and the source page for the exclusions and review method. The original project remains the authority for updates, features and available sessions.
